Nuala Dyer and Tina Brotherton, Mental Health and Wellbeing Advisers are available to talk with staff and students who are worried about another student’s mental health. This will be in general terms about how best to offer support and also how to manage their own worries. It is not expected to share information about individual cases without permission from the person and a rationale for disclosing that information.
Student Support Services also offer a counselling service Counselling is an enabling process which aims to support you in finding your own resources to cope with the feelings you are experiencing or the situation you are facing.
