We offer a range of up-to-date course titles to the rapid progress of computing technology and the needs of business, industry and public organisations as well as education and social life.
Staff within the school work closely with local industry and government institutions to ensure we are able to provide students courses that are relevant and current and therefore give a good platform for employment. Students have many opportunities to work on ‘live’ projects for external clients and so gain real-world experience, whilst they study for a Degree. In addition, students can undertake an optional one-year paid placement through our 4-year sandwich degree, which will greatly enhance their employment prospects.
The degrees we offer range from the highly technical (BSc Computing and BSc Forensic Computing) to the creative (BSc Multimedia Web Design and BSc Interactive Games Design) to the business oriented (BSc Information & Communications Technology and BSc Information Technology). All these degrees require students to develop high levels of technical skills, which can be hard work, but will also be very rewarding and lead to a range of well paid employment.
Whatever the choice of degree, students will develop excellent broad-base technical and problem-solving skills that will stand them in good stead in any further career.
