If you are interested in taking media, journalism or film in new directions then go to News and Events for an insight into the work we have been doing on these courses. Here is what our past students have to say about us:

"The media based MA course that I completed at the University of Gloucestershire was (as you would expect from any Master's degree) one of the most challenging but enjoyable experiences of my life so far. As an individual who enjoys academic work but also thrives when given the opportunity to be creative and take part in practical work, this course was the perfect choice. The variety of modules that comprise this course allow students to express and improve upon their theoretical knowledge and understanding and their practical skills. I have come to realise since graduating that being 'well-rounded' is crucial in the creative industries of today.

I now work full-time as the head of the web design and development department of one of the UK's leading suppliers of professional audio and DSLR equipment, working with customers including the BBC and Channel 4, amongst others. My time on the Media & Creative Enterprise course taught me a great deal about how creative organisations - and the creative industries as a whole - function, and I can attribute a great deal of my professional and personal development to my time as an MA student.

In the future I hope to return to academic study to work towards obtaining a Ph.D, with the hope of eventually lecturing at Undergraduate level."
