My three years studying Popular Music at the UoG have been absolutely brilliant. In terms of the course, I have learnt a huge amount, from music production to the business jargon through to sociological and cultural aspects to music.
Local indie band that burst into our sights with a badly worded e-mail that also lacked any punctuation. No MySpace page or demos to speak of at the time, basically just their word they were good.
