Jim teaches and researches radio genres and research and writing for radio on the BA (Hons) Radio Production degree and radio broadcast skills on the BA (Hons) Journalism degree. Jim has worked as an instructor with BBC Radio Training and has had a broadcasting career that includes presenting, reporting and producing for BBC Radio.
He is an accomplished author of key texts for understanding how to produce great quality radio. Jim's Interviewing for Radio (2nd Edition 2011) and Programme Making for Radio (2006), are both published by Routledge as part of their Media Skills series of books.
