The Active Learning Space, (ALS) is a drop-in area that can be used by everyone for:
- Individual or group work
- Seminars
- Meetings
- Practising presentations
You may re-arrange the furniture, tables & chairs to suit your needs and there are mobile dividers which can be used to create privacy for your area.
ICT Equipment
ALS has three fixed AV cabinets. Two are connected to plasma screens which each have a PC and DVD/VHS player. The third also has a PC and DVD/VHS player but this is connected via a projector to a SMART board. You can sign for a key to open these AV cabinets from the main Reception. There are also ten wireless laptops which can be loaned out to be used in ALS.
