Student Profile
Claire Pitman

MSc Sport and Exercise Sciences (Psychology)
The MSc Sport and Exercise Sciences course offered a psychology pathway which was my main interest within sport psychology and it also offered the opportunity to work towards BASES accreditation to gain the title of Sport and Exercise Scientist (Psychology) whilst working towards my masters. I loved undertaking my placement for one of the modules as it gave me an opportunity to put all my years studying Sport Psychology into practice and although I was nervous I learned so much. I also had the opportunity and the freedom to study specific areas of sport psychology that particularly interested me such as athlete well-being. The university offers a wide range of sports teams and also has a massive range of facilities such as the physiology and biomechanics lab which are brilliant aids for learning.
