The Institute of Education and Public Services has recently formed as a result of merging the departments of Education and Health & Social Care. This amalgamation has enabled us to explore new ways of working and to develop exciting cross disciplinary modules and will provide opportunities for further course developments and collaborative research.
The Institute offers a range of professional and applied undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the fields of:
- Education
- Health
- Social Care
- Social Work
- Youth Work
and works with various external professional bodies including:
- Health Professions Council (HPC)
- National Youth Agency
- Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Teaching Agency
We are proud of our history and our record of success, but are a committed and innovative team that is constantly striving to improve what we offer and are continually moving forward; building on the past, looking to the future and working in the present.
