 Visas and Immigration

Students from outside the European Union (EU) generally need to apply for “entry clearance” (more commonly known as a “visa”) before travelling to the UK.

The Student Visitor Visa is usually most appropriate for the CELTA course as this is available for courses lasting for 6 months or less. We will send you a letter confirming your offer of a place on the course and receipt of your deposit payment. You can use this letter to help get a visa if you need one.

Please note on a Student Visitor Visa you are not able to work while in the UK and you will not be able to extend your visa at the end of the course. If you wish to do either of these you should ask us for a CAS number and apply for entry clearance on a Tier 4 Student Visa. entry clearance as a Tier 4 (General) Student. For more information please contact us.
