How can I book my place at the Welcome Event?
You need to book your place at the Welcome Event by emailing internationalstudents@glos.ac.uk. You can also make any enquiries by phoning +44 (0)1242 714509. Please tell us your name and student number.
How much does Welcome Week cost?
We have a small charge of £115 for the welcome week. A lot of the week is heavily subsidised by the University but the charge helps to cover a few additional costs such as accommodation and trips. If you do not require accommodation during Welcome Week then you will need to make a payment of £85.00.
Please note that the Welcome Week payment is only refundable if students notify us they are not attending and require a refund by 24th August 2012 by emailing Internationalstudents@glos.ac.uk. If students do not let us know by this date then no refund will be given.
There are two main ways in which you can pay for your accommodation for welcome week. The first is via a bank transfer and the second way is to pay with a card via our online store. All payments must be recieved by 13:00 GMT on Friday 31st August. Details are as follows:
