Our newly refurbished facilities will be as follows:
- The Sports Hall at Hardwick will be completely refurbished as a fine art and photography campus
- The current hospitality building at Francis Close Hall will become a specialist design studio space
- Additional studio space will be provided within the current CeAL building (Centre for Active Learning)
- A new media hub will be created in the current Students’ Union bar space at Park
- The Park refectory will be completely refurbished to provide a combined refectory and bar space. Informal learning areas with wireless access will be created for individual and group work
- New Students’ Union offices and facility will be created for a range of functions with designated offices on all sites
- Health and Social Care courses will move to Francis Close Hall and Leisure and Tourism courses will move to Oxstalls
- The Oxstalls bar will be moved to Cafe Direct to create an improved social and learning space
