The Outreach Team are running an all encompassing summer school for those Year 12s who are not sure if University is right for them, or what they intend to study.  You will have an opportunity to take part in sessions such as business, media, sport, humanities and natural and social sciences.

Duration: Five days
When: 9th July - 13th July
Who: Priority will be given to Year 12 students from compact partner institutions but applications are welcome from all of Gloucestershire and then the surrounding counties.
Number of Places: 50
Subjects Covered: These vary annually but cover all subject areas taught at the University of Gloucestershire. Examples include: English Language, Broadcast Journalism, Law, Sports Physiology and Marketing.
Supporting Information: Careers, finance and student life are all up for discussion during the week
Accommodation: Provided in halls of residence
Catering: Fully catered by the university refectory
Cost: FREE
Places are allocated via application.

Launched in 2004 the year 10 summer school has continued to be a great success annually welcoming students from across Gloucestershire to experience first hand living and studying at University. Working along side current university students and lecturers the group will experience an all inclusive look at university life. picture of students

Subjects Covered: These vary annually but cover all subject areas taught at the University of Gloucestershire. Past sessions have included: Geography, Popular Music, Events management, Sports Coaching and History.
Supporting Information: Careers, finance and student life are all up for discussion during the week
Accommodation: Provided in halls of residence
Catering: Fully catered by the university refectory
