A visit to the university

Visiting the University

We welcome visits from schools and colleges, as we think the best way for people find out about university is to experience it first-hand. We give as many pupils as possible the opportunity to see what university is really like. On a visit day, pupils have the opportunity to meet current students, explore new subjects, visit the Students’ Union, and generally soak up the atmosphere. Pupils find these visits invaluable for finding out information about HE and feedback is always very positive. The length, structure and content of your visit can be altered to suit your requirements as we are as accommodating as possible for your needs.

In Schools/Colleges

If you can't make a visit to the university, we are more than happy to send a member of the team to you. In school, we can deliver exciting sessions based around university life, student finance, and choosing courses/universities, as well as more in-depth sessions on the UCAS application process, and how to write the perfect personal statement. Follow the links below to locate the most suitable activities for your students.
