The Accommodation Department keeps a list of study bedrooms availible in houses where the owner lives in the same property. These Lodgings offer a variety of flexible non-contractual accommodation with a choice of self-catering, half-board or breakfast only. The current (2012-2013) rents for self-catering are approximately £70 per week and half-board approximately £90 per week. These are generally exceptionally good value with no further bills to pay. Such accommodation gives students the opportunity to get established without a commitment to a long term agreement.
The accommodation service does not view lodgings, but many owners have a long standing relationship with the University and have been housing students successfully for a number of years.
