The Counselling Service is staffed by qualified and experienced Counsellors, who understand the pressures of University life. All counsellors work in accordance with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical framework for Good Practice in counselling and Psychotherapy.
In addition we have a placement counsellor each year, who is either in the final stages of their training or has completed their training and is working towards accreditation.
If you are dissatisfied with your counsellor/counselling you should discuss this with your counsellor first. If you continue to be unhappy there is a complaints procedure.
