Mitigating Circumstances 

Students are entitled to one 48 hour MC1 extension for coursework each academic year for which no evidence of mitigating circumstances is required. You can register an MC1 on the Assessment Tracking screen on your student record

If unforeseen mitigating circumstances affect your ability to submit work and you wish to request an extension of up to three weeks please contact a Helpzone to request an MC2. You must contact us before your submission deadline.  We can initially register that you will be unable to submit your work on time and you wil then will need to provide independent evidence to support your claim. The Helpzone will consider your request and authorise an appropriate extension if possible
