Society for Research into HE Conference, 14-16 December 2010
The Society for Research into Higher Education (SRHE) annual conference, titled "Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge?" Exploring Meaning, Identities and Transformation in the Academy” took place in Newport, Gwent in December 2010. Dr Alex Ryan and Dr John Blewitt attended the conference and gave a presentation entitled “The Sustainability Challenge: Wisdom and Learning for the Future of HE Curricula”.

Discourse, Power, Resistance Conference, 13-15 April 2011
The Discourse, Power, Resistance Conference titled DPR 10: Changing Education took place at the University Plymouth in April 2011. Professor Daniella Tilbury, Dr Alex Ryan and Dr John Blewitt attended the conference and gave a presentation entitled "Sustainable development at the heart of quality education: bringing sustainability ideals face to face with new HE realities".

University of Gloucesteshire Pilot Workshop, 16th April 2012
This multi-departmental UoG workshop aimed to develop the ability of the institution to embed EfS into quality processes across the principles of the new Learning and Teaching Strategy. Tim Burton of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education attended the workshop and gave a presentation on the UK Quality Code for Higher Education, and possible synergies with the Education for Sustainability project.

Leadership Foundation for Higher Education Conference, 25th January 2012
The LFHE conference titled "Future Proofing Higher Education - Leading Transformational Change" which took place in London focused on the dissemination of projects funded by HEFCE, including its Leadership, Governance and Management scheme. Professor Daniella Tilbury, Dr Alex Ryan, Dr John Blewitt, Harriet Sjerps-Jones and Pauline Ridley attended the conference and gave two presentations on the project, inviting comment and feedback from participants on the organisational issues raised by institution-wide curriculum enhancement initiatives.

Quality Assurance Agency Annual Conference, 25th June 2012
As part of the sector dialogue work for this project, the core team were invited to prepare a discussion panel at the QAA 2012 Annual Conference. Anthony McClaran, CEO of the QAA, Chaired the session, titled ‘Quality Futures: Public Expectations, Student Learning and Sustainability’. The panel included contributions from the project’s expert group and the QAA Student Sounding Board as well as the Vice-Chancellor of Keele University.
