This special edition of the Journal of Global Environmental Research was published on the 26th April. A paper written by Prof Daniella Tilbury entitled “Are We Learning to Change? Mapping Global Progress in Education for Sustainable Development in the Lead Up to ‘Rio Plus 20’” © forms part of this special edition. This journal article reviews international efforts undertaken as part of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development to map global progress in education and asks the question, “are we learning to change our education system and practices?”.
